Local athletes and UnityPoint Health are teaming up for a public health campaign aimed at reducing stillbirths. Every Kick Counts is part of the County the Kicks campaign, teaching expectant parents the importance of monitoring their babies’ movementsin the third trimester of pregnancy. The partnership gives student athletes a chance to give back to their communities, while raising funds and awareness for the estimated 23,500 stillborn babies in the U. S. each year.
